South Korean car company Hyundai has come up with its new small car ‘EON’ in India. It has been developed in India and will be manufactured only in India.  It comes in six variants namely Hyundai Eon D-Lite, Hyundai Eon D-Lite (O), Hyundai Eon Era, Hyundai Eon Magna, Hyundai Eon Magna (O) and Hyundai Eon Sportz. It is priced competitively to stand out in the small car segment in India.

Engine 

It has an Epsilon 814cc 3-cylinder petrol engine which produces maximum power of 55 Bhp at 5500 rpm and maximum torque of 76.5 Nm at 4000 rpm. It has ARAI certified mileage of 21.1 kmpl, which makes it very fuel-efficient. It has a fuel tank capacity is 32 litres.

Exteriors

It has chrome finish front grille, body-coloured bumpers and door handles, stylish wheel covers, which gives look of alloy wheels making it one of the best looking car in its segment. Other design features include crystal clear front fog lamps, tall clear lens tail lamps; huge peel-back headlights giving unique and modern look to the car. The curves and flowing lines makes it look very stylish from the side angle. Black (non-colour coded) outside rear-view mirrors, black coloured bumpers, driver side manually adjustable rear-view mirror and black coloured door handles are other attractive features.

Interiors 

It is spacious and stylish compared to other cars in its class. It features Power steering and front power windows, manual air-conditioner system, factory fitted music system with USB port and AUX, remote central locking, dual-tone shades for central console, 215 litres boot space, many pockets and space for knick-knacks, font seats with integrated head-rests and many more attractive features.  Other features include instrument cluster with a large speedometer in centre, temperature gauge on left side and fuel gauge on right side.

Its safety features include driver-side airbag and other common safety features.
